Learning Curve is Nontrivial

Process definition is an activity that can only be learned with much practice, just like conventional software programming. As expected, process definition was much easier in the latter phases due to the experience gained in phase one. For example, the preliminary phase one process definition contained many products not available at the level of abstraction needed. By phase two, we had learned how to produce consistent process definitions. The phase two and three preliminary process definitions did not contain product abstraction problems.
